Chad and I spent the last weekend in Kaysville watching his brother Scott's kids. Scott is in Salt Lake receiving treatment at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. I went up Thursday night and Chad came up Friday night. Friday while the kids were at school I got the chance to visit my good friend Jeannie who lives in Farmington. It was great to catch up, I hadn't seen her for years. Saturday we took the kids (Derek-15, Brittany-13, Haley-9, Madison-5) to the zoo. It was funny to see Chad driving a mini-van full of kids with his pregnant wife. The zoo was really fun, we hadn't been for years. We got to see the "white alligator" and also saw a great bird show.
With Mother's Day Sunday I helped the kids make aprons for their mom and the grandmas. I felt so crafty! Sunday Chad's parents, grandma, and brother Darren, his wife Maydi and their daughter Kennedy came to Kaysville for lunch. It was a nice visit. Of course we had to watch the Jazz game. Go Jazz! All in all we had a pretty busy weekend. We think our cat Kiki missed us while we were gone ;)
My mom was in Vegas with Nana & Papa for a cousins wedding, so we are celebrating this weekend while Cadie is home. Mom and Nana & Papa brought back the cutest baby clothes they found in Vegas at H&M. I can't wait to put them on the baby!
