That little bugger causes so much PAIN!!!! That is crazy! So here's the story: Monday I was getting ready to go to work and I got this really bad pain in my back on the lower right side. It kept getting worse, I thought I was going to die! I tried a heating pad on it, nothing. I tried stretching and moving around, nothing. So I called Chad, he told me to go to the ER. I thought " I am not going to the ER, it will go away". But it kept getting worse I could barely walk and then started throwing up. So I called my mom to come over and stay with the baby while I went to the hospital. I was on the floor rolling around in pain and Trevor was in his swing just watching me. (He is such a good baby) I couldn't wait any longer, I put Trevor in the car and headed to the ER, my mom and sister meet us there. Turns out I had a kidney stone. They gave me some good IV drugs and a CT scan. They sent me home with a strainer and said to see the urologist in 3 days and bring the stone if I pass it. So Tuesday morning I got a call from the hospital to "pre-register me for my surgery tomorrow" I was very surprised and called the doctor to find out what was going on. Turns out the urologist saw the scan and knew I couldn't pass it and needed surgery. The Dr. meant to call me before the hospital did, but he got called into surgery and didn't get to call me. So I had surgery yesterday (Happy New Year). It was pretty fast, not too painful. I am just sore and groggy today. But I am glad to have had the surgery in 2008 and not have to pay another deductible in 2009. So we had a very boring New Year's Eve ;) We hope you all had more fun last night than we did!Thursday, January 1, 2009

Oh I feel so bad. That totally sucks to have to have that happen. But like you said it was also a good thing to have to have it all in the same year. (I would at least look at it that way too) dang deductibles. I hope you are feeling better and if you guys need anything let me know.
How are you feeling Brynn? I have been thinking about you since you posted but can not make my stupid comment save, this is like my fourth time!! They say that a kidney stone is the closest to labor for a man, and most women who have had them would rather have labor twice over. I hope you are on the mend!! Email me and let me know how your feeling! Those little things are horrible.. and yours really wasn't all that little. Here's too a healthy 2009!!!

Hope you're feeling fine by now. Glad it is all over. The Christmas pcitures are so cute. The one with Trevor with the gold crown really reminds me of his Grandpa Lavon, his namesake. I would have been fun if we could have been there to help celebrate. I sent Family book updates back with Dean. did he give them to you? Love all of you
