NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Well it's been quite a while since I posted a blog and since I actually have something to blog about, I took the opportunity to do so. Carlton, another service tech from work, and I flew to Syracuse, New York for training on air and liquid screw chillers. We spent Mon - Wed in class and took a train to New York City. We spent half a day Thursday & Friday being tourists. Wow, what a city!! The city is so much older than anything here in Utah and has so much history.
I can't wait to go back and spend some more time looking around. I have posted some photos and videos below. Enjoy!!

This machine was the whole purpose of my New York trip.

Carrier's residential training room.

On my travels from Syracuse to New York, via Amtrak, I was able to snap a picture of West Point. West Point was founded during the Revolutionary War and in 1780 Benedict Arnold attempted to turn the fort over to British Army for a bribe of 20,000 pounds or 1.3 million in U.S. dollars today. However, his plot failed and he became to be know as one of the worlds most famous treasoners.

Madison Square Garden

Empire State Building.

I don't think I'm in Utah anymore.

Manhattan

Can you find the Chrysler Building?

Give my regards to Broadway.

A giant cube. Yeah, not sure.

This building controls most of the worlds finances.

Merrill Lynch Bull. I think he's going down.

Ground Zero. Hard to imagine the World Trade Center once stood here.

Rockefeller Plaza.
