Weekend Update

Friday night I cooked, which is so rare! But I think it was actually really good, I even followed a recipe . I got way too domesticated and tried to make blueberry apple sauce bread too, and well that failed. So lesson learned only try one thing at a time ;)
Saturday we got to attend the baptism of the daughter of friends of ours. Our friends are not active, we are very proud of this little girl. We hope she will be a great example to her parents. At the baptism Chad got to say a pray and they asked me to lead the music. I don't know how to lead music, so I just flapped my arm around ;) I should have learned my lesson from my mission when I was asked to lead music. I had only been out a week or so when my companion asked if I could lead the music at this meeting we were attending. I asked how many people would be there, she said maybe a dozen. So I thought sure I will flap my arm for a dozen people. So this meeting was huge, I'd say a couple hundred. We were the only sisters there and if that wasn't bad enough our mission president showed up. So when it is time for the music a "men's hymn" was chosen and I had to lead it!! It was the longest song ever and soooo embarrassing.
Chad's parents and Grandma came out on Saturday afternoon. It was great to see them and to see that Grandma is doing better. We had a nice visit and Trevor did all his tricks for them.
Oh I can't forget to tell you about my Saturday morning. Trevor has his morning routine, he gets a butt change then a bottle with prune juice and vitamins, and watches cartoons. Well all of those things happened but then he started to play with something on the carpet and as I got closer to see what it was......it was a headless mouse!!!!!!!! Kiki had made a kill in the garage and brought in to show us. I scooped Trevor up so fast, ran into the bedroom and made Chad get up and get the mouse carcass while I antibacterialed my son. So gross! But glad that Kiki is doing her job.
