Trevor has become the pickiest little eater lately. It's really frustrating for me. He wants to feed himself, which is fine. But he can't feed himself oatmeal very well :) And if he doesn't want it he will spit it out and throw it at me, or he just throws it on the floor. I hope this phase will pass quickly. We had a pretty relaxing weekend. We hit a few yard sales on Saturday morning, got some good toys for Trevor. And watched Conference. I made pumpkin heads for work. We were going to seal the driveway but the weather didn't cooperate for that.
Here is a picture of Trevor in his throne, you can see he thinks its pretty cool.

He is looks like a toddler now in that car seat! He's living in luxury now!!
Just after Dylon turned one he became super picky too. In the last few months he has started becoming more daring on trying things. I hope it doesn't take as long for you! Good luck :)
Starve him out!! Kidding, can you blame him you have him in a pink bib:)
Trust me, this too shall pass!! I really thought I was going to go crazy with lil' Miss Pretty and her pickiness! But she's coming around and more than anything, they're gaining their independence. It's just hard making that transition from them eating whatever you give to them, and them deciding they don't really like whatever you give to them. I found some fun compartment trays at walmart that I stick different foods into the compartments. She gets her choices and eats what she wants. It's very rare that she cleans her plate anymore.
No plans??? How about coming to Oregon for pumpkin season at Roloff Farms!!! Come on! You know you want to come see me!
You can make oatmeal with less water so it's easier for him to feed himself. You could also make it like a cookie, or bon bon so it would be fun for him to pick up and eat.
If you make rice, you can grind it up then let it set in the fridge. It will be gelatin-like and then you can cut it in cubes and he'll have fun picking it up and squeezing it in his hands. You can put wheat germ or ground up cheerios or nuts on top so it's easier for him to pick up.
