Portland Trip 2011

I got the chance to visit Cadie in Portland last weekend. I flew out on Thursday morning on a Buddy pass from Dad. While checking in for the flight I found out my drivers license was expired. The agent let me use my library card as ID, this flagged me a security risk. When I got to security I got the works! My purse and luggage were searched and I was given the "pat down". I had to have Chad overnight my passport and other IDs to me in Portland to get home.

It was great to get away and to visit Cadie. We had lots of fun. We went to the Aveeda school and got facials and I got my eyebrows and eyelashes tinted. We ate The Grilled Cheese Grill, I had a burger that had 2 grilled cheese sandwiches for the bun. It was delicious!! We saw a few movies and did a bit of shopping. And Cadie introduced me to Cribbage. She had a work tournament, I took 3rd place.

On the flight home I kept getting bumped off flights, but finally got on the last flight of the day. I didn't mind flying stand-by, until I had been at the airport for 8 hours.
