Woodruff Parade and Rodeo

We spent the 4th of July in Woodruff this year.  Chad's parents were being honored at the rodeo.  We just went up for the day.  It started with a parade.  The kids were excited, Chad had been telling them that they got candy.  Boy did they ever get candy!  They got more candy at the parade than trick or treating.  Lola loved it, she picked up every last piece she could find.  She even tried to pick up some horse poop to put in her bag.
I was more than willing to help the kids out with all that candy.
At the rodeo Trevor participated in the rabbit and chicken chase.  He had so much fun.  He came close to catching a rabbit, but I think he was nervous to pick it up.  I think for our next rodeo the kids need cowboy hats, and Chad too.
We had a fun day with the family.  And our grateful to live in this wonderful country!  God Bless America!

Haven't looked at your blog for a while. Yep would like to see them in a cowboy hat. Does keep the sun off. I know how well Chad likes Rodeos. Probably hard with two little kids. Glad it's over. Mom E.
