Princess School

Lola got to go to "princess school" today.  We went to the Princess Festival at Thanksgiving Point.  Nana bought Lola the most beautiful dress to wear.  It was 100 degrees today, she was probably sweating to death, but didn't show it.  Nana, Cadie and Trevor came with us.
This picture pretty much sums up Trevor's feelings about the festival.

The mermaid was sitting in a wheelchair.  Couldn't they throw her on a rock or a chair and hide the wheelchair?  We were not very impressed with the princesses.
Nana took the kids on a carriage ride.  I guess the horse pooped during the ride and stunk it up.
We bought super hero costumes at the princess festival.  Lola called herself "Captain America Girl".
I was disappointed with the festival.  It was poorly done and not worth the money.  But Lola really wanted to go to "princess school".  When I was being cheap and saying I didn't want to spend the money to go, Chad said "why do I work overtime if my daughter can't go to princess school?"  Chad is a wonderful father, he loves us all so much.  Lola will be able to meet "real princesses" in a couple months at Disneyland.

Lola was so cute in her princess dress. And her sparkly princess shoes. It was cute when she walked, cause she held her skirt up. And Trevor loved the rocks, the tunnels, and the water. What a boy!
