Today I "ran" the Nebo Half Marathon. I decided to do this race before I found out I was pregnant, and really wanted to follow through and do the race. I talked our neighbor Jamie into doing it with me, yet another reason I had to do it. Jamie and I stayed the night before in Payson with my friend Elaine. The bus ride up to the start was pretty rough, the driver took out a tree. Dr. Kimball met us at the starting line. It was fun to do a race with everyone. I warned them that they would be waiting a long time for me to finish. And they did, I finished in 3:45. Around mile 9 I started to walk with another lady who turned out to also be pregnant. What are the chances that 2 crazy pregnant ladies would try to run a half marathon. Her name was Shannon, she was super nice. It was a beautiful course, the leaves were changing. I don't think I will try another half marathon while pregnant.
