Everyone is doing it!

I thought I'd start our own blog after enjoying reading other blogs. Hopefully Chad and I are interesting enough for people to want to read our blog ;) It's fun!

We are both just working. I am waiting for my classes to start at the Salt Lake Tooele Applied Technology College in October. I haven't taught before, but am very excited to try. Tonight I am leaving for San Francisco to the ADA Convention for 4 days. It will be weird to be away from Chaddy for awhile. Chad is anticipating the first snow fall to kick off the cold season at work. He is already wearing his winter coat and being teased.

We had our first sharing time in Primary last week. It didn't go very well. We played a game, but it might have been to easy for the senior primary. It didn't help that I couldn't hear the kids.

About my hearing, it was September 1st that I woke up with no hearing in my right ear. After 10 days of oral steroids I still had no hearing. Then I had 2 weeks of steroid injections into my ear drum.(yes it hurt!) Last Friday I had an MRI to see if there was a tumor or anything, it came back fine. So no tumor, no infection, nothing wrong. The Dr. said he doesn't think I will get any of my hearing back in my right ear. So it has been a hard adjustment to make, not hearing very well. I have empathy for Nana and Grandma Ann. I will have to stop making fun of Nana. The only positive thing is that I sleep really well ;)

Well I hope that atleast one person reads our blog!
