ADA Convention

The dental convention was fun. The weather was nice, a bit cold at night but nice. They had 2 speakers, Friday was Barbara Walters and Saturday was Lance Armstrong. Barbara was interesting, she didn't really speak about anything, she just told about the people she has interviewed. But Lance was really good. He spoke about the day he found out he had cancer, it was 7 years ago today actually. He talked about how the France team wanted nothing to do with him and that's why he joined the American team. I learned a lot at the convention and got a bunch of free stuff (the real reason we go). I did a lot of shopping too. On Saturday there was a "love-peace parade". You can only imagine, it was just a bunch of people dressed up walking down the street to music. And some nude men, something you don't see in Salt Lake. I couldn't believe the police allowed that.

During one of my classes I scratched my right ear (deaf ear) and I could HEAR IT!!!!! I still can't hear talking, ect. But that scratching is something new and I am excited about that. I see the doctor again in 3 weeks.
