Memorial Weekend Update

We have been slackin' so here is our update. We spent Saturday gardening. I hate gardening, but Chad wanted a garden. I sure hope something grows. We planted corn, broccoli, cucumber, tomato, squash, onion, lettuce and cantaloupe.

We also got a patio set to finish our backyard. Last year our backyard was just dirt and concrete. Chad has spent a lot of time planting flowers, hauling dirt and laying sod.

Then Monday we painted the nursery yellow. By "we" I mean mostly Chad. It was looking really yellow when we were done. But now seeing it we love it. I can't wait to decorate. I need to find a crib and a rocking chair. I think I found crib bedding I like, I am having a tough time deciding.

I went to doctors last Friday, we are still having a baby! I am starting freak out a little about how this boy is getting out of me ;) And all the stuff this baby is going to need.

You are going to be such a great mom! Everything will come so naturally I am sure. No worries Brynn. I am sure your delivery will go great also!

Take a class! For sure. I had to have c-sections but with my first baby I was so glad to know everything there is to know about how they come out. You think you know, but really there are plenty of things doctors and books don't cover. I found a Bradley Method teacher. It is husband assisted birth, so the couple connection is amazing. But they are pretty intense about non-medicated births. A lot of classes are like that, but you have to make the decision for yourself and not let anyone make you feel guilty. You will do just fine no matter what. You were made to do this, remember that.
