Ode to Cadie!

This picture is after the 2007 Salt Lake City Marathon. I "ran" the 5k, Cadie ran her first half marathon and Uncle Steve ran the marathon. I was supposed to run the half with Cadie but flaked out on her due to my not training, but planning a wedding. I ran the last 3 miles in with her though. After this half she was hooked and ran 3 more half marathons.
Cadie is my favorite sister and not just by default, her being my only sister. If I had others they would have to be pretty awesome to beat her for the title of favorite sister. I didn't really like her much until she went away to Utah State. I guess it is true that "distance makes the heart grow fonder". And now she lives even farther away in Oregon, so that must be why I really like her now ;)
She is very talented. She can play the piano, cross-stitch, crochet, cook, and the list goes on. When I call our nieces and nephew and they ask "who is this?" and I say "your favorite Aunt" they say "hi Cadie!"
