Trevor was "Squirt" from Finding Nemo for Halloween. He looked so cute in his costume I took him the store in it on Saturday. He had fun helping me hand out candy, but he wanted to leave with every kid that came over. We had maybe 20 trick-or-treaters. Chad and Ryan hung a unit heater in the garage. Chad is very excited about this latest project. I don't know why we have to heat our garage, but I guess when you are married to an HVAC guy you heat your garage? :)
I have been trying to find a window covering solution for our dining room sliding glass door. I really dislike vertical blinds, but we need something on that window for privacy and to keep the sun out. I had a "free estimate" from JC Penney this week and it would be $1400 to do the 2 side windows and the slider with them. I don't think so! So now I am on the hunt for a bay window curtain rod.

It's Callee from the next street over. I came across your blog from Allison's ( I hope you don't mind) We need to talk to your hubby about this garage heating thing.. My husband needs our garage heated b/c he teaches karate in it... let's chat!! It was sooo nice to finally meet you and your family... Window treatments are hard to figure out. I ended up going to Ikea for the boys' room and got a cool rod. It could work for you too, it's Kvartal system. It has panels that you could use for your sliding glass door. Or you can use curtains.
This was my first Ikea experience. I like the price, but I had a hard time with purchasing & making. I'm sure you can figure it out better than me. Make sure you get all the parts since they come separately!

I have the Kvartal system that I hung up to hide my storage area. They have cute panels for it. It could work.
