Lagoon

Chad had his work party Saturday at Lagoon.  It was really fun.  I wasn't sure we would make it, the night before Lola was up sick.  But she was ok to go.  Both kids had a blast and so did we!  Trevor was great on the rides, unless he got wet.  Lola was just happy to be there and liked the rides she could go on.  My mom came with Ryan's girls and helped us with the kids.  She also took them home so we could play without them. Ryan, Jacki and Dylan met us there after Dylan's football game.
We got our pictures taken in Pioneer Village by our niece Brittany.  I had a wonderful vision in my mind about how these pictures would turn out, I was wrong.  Lola was not into being dressed up and photographed.  But I did buy the CD of pictures so I am hoping my brilliant photographer friend can edit them to get one good shot.
I hope that Chad's work will repeat this next year.  Next time I will not be going on the Cliffhanger ride (The Cliffhanger consists of two-seat gondolas, accommodating 20 guests each, connected to a large mast that turns and rotates them. The operation of the ride produces a rocking somersault experience in both forward and reverse. Each gondola may be locked in position or allowed to turn during the ride cycle. The Cliffhanger has a water feature through which the gondolas travel. You will get wet — possibly soaked — as your gondola passes through the water.)  It was NOT fun at all!

I didn't ride too many rides. Just hung out with Lola. And that was fun. She is such a good girl, sitting in the stroller and just watching everything around her. I loved going on some rides with Trevor and he would hold his arms up over his head while I was clutching the bars. I loved being there with the whole family but missed Cadie. And Ryan was a brat.
