Sunday night around 7pm we were all outside. Chad and I were working on the yard getting the sprinklers finished and rocks removed. The kids were playing with the Thurgood kids. We had been outside for hours. Trevor and Cambria were racing bikes and Lola was walking up the sidewalk. Cambria went to pass Trevor on the grass and crashed into him and into Lola. Lola got knocked down and run over a bit. She hit the back of her head on the cement tree ring and her eyebrow must have hit the handlebars on the bike. I took her inside to check her over. She had a big cut by her eye, but the back of her head was ok. It was deep, so I took her to InstaCare in Tooele to get it glued or stitched up. We waited there for almost 2 hours to be told we had to go to Primary Children's Hospital to have her sedated and stitched up.
She was super cute in the waiting room, jumping around and hugging me. Waiting there with other sick or hurt children made me very grateful for my beautiful, healthy children. We are very lucky!
Once they sedated her so was so funny. She had on Hello Kitty socks and kept pointing to them and meowing. After they gave her 5 stitches we had to wait around for the medicine to wear off. She would just ramble and sway. She was a trooper and I hope we don't have to get anymore stitches.
